Even after all these years, I find it hard to start doing something I want to do. Sometimes it even feels likes a drag to open an envelope to look at a bill!!!
I think there is a limit to all of us in taking on a project or doing something active. Video game and TV seems like the path of least resistance. Being in front of them kills a day and leaving you groggy all day.
Maybe what we do when we hire a lot of people is not necessary because of the lack of efficiency in having a big corporation. Rather, with enough people, you can generate enough inertia to get different projects moving ad get them off the ground. The lack of efficiency of having a lot of people maybe the price to pay for generating new inertia for the organization.
